My radio was playing away to itself in the middle a big empty room. Then the bass cut out, has anyone else had this problem. If so how did you fix it? Can't be doin without music while i work
    1. Guy replied on
I had the same problem myself. Go into the settings, look for DRN settings and turn it off. I haven't got a clue what it does but it messes up the sound from time to time.
  2. Nathan asked on
Anyone had the 230v charger cable split? My radio just turned 1 year old and can't charge it now. Is the charger covered under warranty?

    1. Mark replied on
My charger just stopped working after only a year but screwfix replaced the whole unit! The new chargercwith it was more robust and had as thicker cable too.

Don’t know tbh never tried it, it’s got an aux and a usb socket, I either listen to the radio or play mine through Bluetooth, unbelievable sound quality though

hi all hoping an owner can clear this query up are there any of the 18v xr batteries that don't fit \ wont charge as some places say as long as it isn't flex volt your all good others say the 18v 3ah and 5ah don't fit \ wont charge and I have several of both lol

    cheers all either way
    1. Wayne replied on
I have a 2 &5 Ah XR18v standard batteries and they both fit the compartment and charge. I don't have multivolt to try.
    2. Paul replied on
The battery housing itself has issues. It doesn't hold the batteries in place firmly enough and you need to pack it out with an extra bit of foam to rectify this.
  8. Lee asked on
Hi.. can this take flexfolt 6ah barriers??
    1. Marcus replied on
No, just all the others. It's pretty good on batteries, so a 4 or 5ah will last over a day at full blast.
    2. Gordon replied on
Hi. Not sure. Will check this out and get back to you.
