Questions people have asked owners of the DeWALT DWST1-70703 TSTAK™ II Suit case flat top including pre-cut foam

  1. KEVIN asked on
Good morning, I have just purchased a dcd996 with flex volt battery and charger I have been supplied with a tstack case but the insert is incorrect where can I purchase the correct insert the case is a DWST1-71215
    1. Alex replied on
I am not sure about where the problem lies here. My 3-speed drill is a dcd995 and its case is a TSTAK11 DWST1-70703. So it looks as though my drill is an earlier model than yours and its case, which I reviewed, has a different identification number. Sorry that I cannot shed more light on this problem.
  2. John asked on
I have a DCF899H 18v Impact gun, will it fit in this case?
    1. Alex replied on
I regret that I do not own a DCF899H but the catalogue quotes a height of 225mm which is about the same as the other 18V battery drills so it should fit in the TSTAK II case.
  3. Chris asked on
Is this case suitable for Dcg412n angle grinder
    1. Alex replied on
I keep my Dewalt angle grinder in a TSTAK ll Suit case flat top but, although there is no room for an 18v battery, there is room for spare grinding discs. Its battery and charger must be carried separately.
  4. Connor asked on
is this big enough for the cordless planer and a battery or two?
    1. Alex replied on
I think not. The least dimension of the planer is 160mm and I keep mine in one of the deeper boxes because the shallower boxes are only deep enough for, say, one of the drills which need only about 100mm of depth.
  5. Chris asked on
I have an 18v combo driver and an 18v impact driver. Which case that has a foam insert is best suited to fit them into the same case. Thanks. Chris
    1. Simon replied on
Personally I use the D'S range of dealt boxes for my power tools, and t stak for hole saws, still bits, screws eye.
  6. Rav asked on
Hello I have a Dewalt dcf887p2 Impact Screwdriver 18 V (2 x 5Ah). Will foam insert case fit the impact screwdriver, 2x batteries and charger ?
    1. Alex replied on
These boxes come in various depths. My 2-speed drill+charger+2 batteries fit in one 120mm deep. There is a slightly larger box 150mm deep which may be better to your kit if, say, you have the larger batteries.
