Questions people have asked owners of the DeWALT TOUGHSYSTEM™ DS300

  1. Chris asked on
Would the 18v 1st fix nail gun fit in this box with the 18v angle grinder?
    1. Sam replied on
Yes they’ll be fine but you may want to think about some foam to protect them
  2. richard asked on
hello, i would like to know if i can fit a reciprocating saw, a jig saw, a circular saw & an angle grinder, all battery operated into one of these boxes ? & thanks :)
    1. Sam replied on
I reckon you may struggle with the recipro saw with the others. The rest should be okay. Maybe try the ds400 
    2. Edward replied on
I have a jig saw, skill saw and angle grinder in one of mine and that just fits. I believe you will not get the recip saw in too seeing as I don't even have batteries in my box.

I agree with the other guys. I think it might be a bit ambitious to have all four tools fit. you might have to look at something a bit bigger.
  3. Ross asked on
Where can you get foam inserts so a dcs331 jigsaw fits securely
    1. thomas replied on
hi i picked one up off ebay for my tuff system box it dosent look much in the photo but you just pull out the little squares to the shape of your tool and the base layer stays in place and holds the tool where you have removed the squares hope this helps
  4. Ross asked on
Is it suitable for a Dewalt dcs331 jigsaw?
    1. Edward replied on
Yes it will fit as it is just an empty box. if you want a snug fit, you will need foam inserts. Hope this helps. Great all round box. Very tough.

      Hi Ross

Yes the DCS331 would fit, the box is more than big enough. As already mentioned you would need foam or something to pad out the interior. I would recommend getting the proper box for the unit, I think its DEWALT DS150 with inserts, which is a lot smaller than the box I bought, but I'm sure just as well made and very tough. It might be more difficult to find, but you would be assured of a snug fit without any more effort. Incidentally I returned the box I purchased as it was to small for my needs, so this is all from memory. Best of luck.
