plenty of power for such a compact tool/choice of batteries/quick charge time/ and by using a 1/2 to 1/4 hex impact adapter (part no. DT7508) it becomes an impact driver too !
Detent pin causes problems when removing sockets etc. a spring ball /hog ring system would be better.

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Dewalt DCF880M2

  1. Jason asked on
Would this be suitable for removing wheel bolts from a car?
    1. jason replied on
hi i use this drill in the building trade but i would think the bit holder would be to small to hold a socket
  2. John asked on
It will be used for scaffolding erecting and stripping is the battery life 4.00ah enough and is is small enough to get behind the scaffolding tubes
    1. Joe replied on
The 4ah battery lasts me near enough a whole day on one charge. The drill it self is fairly small so you should have no problem
  3. colin asked on
Mine has slowed down is it the brushes?
    1. Jamie replied on
No idea. Whenever mine fails to function at max I take it to the nearest dealer for repair. Repairs are free for 3 years. If you try yourself you loose your warranty. Hope this helps.
